TWITTER MY FACEBOOK We asked, you answered! Here are some of the responses to our weekly questions on Facebook and Twitter. Why is it important to have multiple levels of equipment in your salon? It's important to cater to all of your clients and attract a variety of customers. Having different levels of tanning provides a price level for every budget and options for the most seasoned tanner. Some people just like a great tan, others like a great tan with bells and whistles. Sonya Bright You'll frequently hear customers say they get the best tan outdoors. This is because when they tan outdoors, it's like they're using every level of our beds indoors. Each level of tanning beds depending on the UVA/UVB percentage represents a different point at which the sun is in the sky. Dusk or dawn is like a high-pressure bed, very low UVB, .5%. Morning or evening is like a high-performance bed, 2% UVB. Late morning/early afternoon is like a low-pressure bed, about 5% UVB. High noon is like our high-UVB bed, 8.5%. Each bed has different benefits for your tan helping you to gain the deepest darkest tan. Each skin type can benefit more or less from different beds as well. SunsUp Tanning Centers More levels = more profit! Brett Evans We try to make sure we have something for everyone.
